Forced Labor Compliance Using SAP GTS

Webcast

Webcast overview

Unlock the power of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) solution and discover how it can support compliance with anti-forced labor regulations. With its standard features and capabilities, SAP GTS can support establishing controls to address forced labor risks, enabling program capabilities around ethical sourcing and streamlined operations. Let's explore its capabilities in identifying and mitigating forced labor risk within your supply chain.

In this webcast, KPMG global trade professionals will shed light on the significant challenges companies encounter in the area of building effective forced labor programs, including supply chain due diligence, supplier documentation/solicitation management, forced labor restricted supplier screening, and automated blocking mechanisms. Further, KPMG will provide insights from their extensive implementation experience on how SAP GTS can support and overcome UFLPA (Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act) challenges, as well as support broader global anti-forced labor regulatory requirements. During the webcast, KPMG will discuss innovations around forced labor compliance leveraging standard SAP GTS capabilities, including:

  • Utilizing sanctioned party list (SPL) screening functionality to screen customers, suppliers, and other parties against UFLPA SPL list
  • Leveraging GTS preference supplier solicitation functionality to effectively solicit and manage supplier solicitations for documentation and evidence required by Customs authorities
  • Screening transactions against forced labor indicators (HTS classification, country of origin, others)
  • Building robust reports to make an informed decision on forced labor blocked transactions

This webcast will be of greatest interest to trade and technology, compliance, ESG, supply chain, legal and other professionals who are considering ways to enhance their forced labor program through the use of SAP GTS.
