The interest in transferability of tax credits related to clean energy and manufacturing has increased in popularity due to the provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The IRA allows entities who are claiming these tax incentives to sell, or transfer, these tax credits, which can provide additional financing options and can help incentivize investment.
