Bao is a transfer pricing leader with over 15 years of experience. She currently leads the transfer pricing function at MUFG Bank for the Americas region, overseeing the Bank’s compliance to arm’s length pricing requirements under Regulation W and transfer pricing rules.

Driven to hone her expertise and build relationships across her field, Bao has taken on different roles and challenges in transfer pricing. Bao started her transfer pricing career at Baker & McKenzie, providing planning, documentation, dispute resolution and valuation services to U.S. multinationals. At PwC, she consulted for a number of clients on their global restructuring. In 2011, she co-founded her own boutique transfer pricing consultancy, TP Analytics, to develop new services, products and tools for the transfer pricing industry. She also gained valuable government experience as part of the IRS’s Advanced Pricing Mutual Agreement Program (APMA), where she was recognized for her success in negotiating financial services cases on behalf of the IRS with international tax authorities.
