Australia: Free trade agreement with Peru enters into force

A free trade agreement between Australia and Peru entered into force on 11 February 2020.
According to the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the trade agreement provides opportunities for Australian businesses to have access to the Peruvian market. The Australian government has provided:
- Trade agreement-related documents that summarize the main outcomes
- A guide to using the trade agreement to export or import goods
- A free trade agreement portal that is a comprehensive resource for exporters, and importers of goods and service providers looking to explore the benefits of Australia's free trade agreements
- A guide to doing business with Peru guide – for more information about doing business in Peru and Peru's business culture
