The COVID-19 Survey: Implications on Globally Mobile Employees aggregates the responses of human resources, global mobility, tax, and relocation professionals regarding the impact of the global COVID-19 situation. This report summarizes the findings of nearly 250 global, cross-industry professionals. Some of the high level findings include:
- The most common overarching theme is that organizations are focusing on their employees first.
- Nearly three-quarter of participating organizations confirmed that they have no plans to repatriate international assignees at this time.
- Nearly all organizations have cited that they have provided flexibility and guidance to assignees to make their best informed decision of whether to remain in the host country or repatriate home.
- Assignees remaining in host country locations are being directed to follow local country mandates including stay-at/work-from-home and self-quarantining as needed.
