What’s Shaking in California State Tax?

Webcast overview

From a state tax perspective, it’s never a dull day in the Golden State. Recently, as a result of California’s less-than-golden fiscal state, legislation was enacted that suspended net operating losses and limited credits for the next few years. In addition, there are other potential tax increases on the horizon, notably the split-roll measure that will likely be on the ballot in November. Besides tax changes, the California Franchise Tax Board continues work on several regulatory projects, and the relatively-new Office of Tax Appeals has recently issued opinions providing guidance on key California tax issues.

Please join Oksana Jaffe and Gina Rodriquez from KPMG’s Sacramento office and Scot Grierson from Orange County for an update on recent tax developments and administrative updates in California. These professionals have significant experience assisting clients with California tax issues and their insights and observations will make this a “don’t miss” program for any business with ties to California.
