Transfer Pricing Considerations Resulting from COVID-19 (Session Two)

Webcast overview

The unexpected outbreak of COVID-19 has significantly affected the global marketplace. As a result, transfer pricing issues are emerging that should be proactively considered. On April 27, KPMG LLP (KPMG) explored these issues on a webcast featuring senior KPMG professionals from Washington National Tax and KPMG International member firms in China and Italy. This webcast provided an overview of the issues that have arisen and set the stage as the first in a series of webcasts on this topic.

As we move forward in the series, speakers will take a deeper dive look at some of the priority topics. Topics for this second session will include:

  • An update on the OECD’s current transfer pricing workstreams and prospects for further guidance
  • Emerging issues related to location/people disruptions
  • Delving deeper into comparables selection and adjustments
  • Restructuring and other expenses arising from business disruption.
