KPMG TaxWatch: 2020 year-end tax compliance considerations with a look forward to 2021

Webcast overview

We all could agree the Year 2020 has been unique in many ways. It has been unlike anything, any one of us would have expected. As companies initiate procedures to return to the office, there is a realization of a new reality that will likely be with us well into 2021. Companies that have returned into the office; initially examined how to have their employees return safely. As the dust may be settling, year-end is now looming, and decisions will need to be made on compliance issues that arose during lockdown as a result of displaced employees. If these companies have implemented more flexible work arrangements, they may be considering changes to processes for 2021 to manage compliance for remote workers. Companies that are not yet back in the office are trying to navigate the regulatory, tax, and compliance risks that need to be assessed and managed in the interim, and before year-end―while adjusting to the new reality of a remote workforce and the return to business-related travel.

KPMG LLP (“KPMG”) is pleased to invite you to an informative TaxWatch webcast, where tax and mobility professionals from KPMG LLP will share their perspective on how organizations are navigating the full scope of being remote and the return to office journey. During the session we will cover:

  • Understanding the regulatory concerns of a remote workforce
  • Navigating the year-end international and domestic tax compliance risks created by enforced remote working
  • What to consider as you look forward to 2021
