Tax Reform: Inbounds – Competing on a “Level” Playing Field

Feb 20, 2018 02:00

Webcast overview:

The political discourse preceding Tax Reform included much discussion about “leveling” the playing field for U.S. businesses. Companies welcomed the prospect of a dramatically lower U.S. corporate tax rate, capital expensing, and other investment “carrots,” while anxiously anticipating anti-base erosion measures and other fiscally protective “sticks.” Now, with legislative language in the books, Inbounds are struggling to get their arms around how the new tax rules affect their competitive position in the United States and globally. Kim Majure, U.S. Inbound Lead and Washington National Tax principal, will be joined by Washington National Tax principals Jesse Eggert and Michael Plowgian and their hour-long Webcast will cover the following topics:

  • Inbound To-Dos:  Immediate, Near Term, and “On the Horizon” Tax Reform Issues
  • Practical Implications of BEAT Management
  • Potential Inbound Financing Considerations
