Tax reform Thursdays: Midterm elections results' potential impact on the tax agenda

Nov 08, 2018 14:00

Webcast Overview:

Will the makeup of the Senate and House following the November 6 federal elections affect the continuing implementation of U.S. tax reform? Since its enactment last December, the 2017 tax legislation has been on a steady path of implementation with Treasury and IRS releasing a stream of guidance and proposed regulations. And what of Tax Reform 2.0—having now passed the House, could it see action in the Senate after the election? In addition, there’s been continuing talk of a technical corrections bill.

KPMG LLP (KPMG) is pleased to invite you to a Tax Governance Institute audio Webcast on the election results, the impact on House and Senate tax committees, and what changes may mean to domestic and multinational companies. Webcast speakers include Manal Corwin, recently named principal in charge of KPMG’s Washington National Tax practice, and Principal John Gimigliano and Director Jennifer Gray from KPMG’s Federal Legislative & Regulatory Services practice.

Please join us for what promises to be an insightful and informative Webcast. The content will be at an introductory tax level and will be of interest to all business executives with an interest in tax reform.
