Detailed Arizona Development
The Arizona Department of Revenue is sending out renewal letters to businesses engaged in activities that are subject to transaction privilege tax (TPT). The due date for renewing TPT licenses is January 1, 2021, and the licenses are valid for one calendar year. Failure to renew licenses in a timely manner may result in penalties and/or late fees. Note that out-of-state businesses, including marketplace facilitators, with an obligation to collect TPT must also obtain or renew their TPT licenses. Renewal of licenses can be completed on the Department’s tax portal. Please stay tuned to TWIST for more TPT updates.
