KPMG Destination Country X

Episode 02-2023 | This past year has seen tremendous progress, at least from the legislative perspective, toward the cleanup of cross-border supply chains. Momentum, at least for the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, has been building for the last several years. The Inflation Reduction Act, in comparison, was a little more of a surprise. Between the two, U.S. companies face a range of provisions designed to drive good behavior throughout their supply chains. The real question is how companies will manage the jump between “will” and “way.”

KPMG Trade & Customs Principals Jessica Libby and George Zaharatos join podcast hosts Kim Majure and Kortney Wallace to discuss.
