Episode 07-2022 | Chile’s new president, Gabriel Boric, has hit the ground running. Just a few months into his administration, Chile has not only seen a constitutional referendum, but also a major tax reform proposal. At stake is Chile’s historical shareholder imputation system, as President Boric has his eye on converting the old regime into a classical tax system. Along with that change is a series of proposals regarding the corporate tax rate, net operating loss limitations, foreign tax credits, and more.

Andres Martinez, Head of Tax Consulting for KPMG in Chile, and Juan Infante, Tax Partner with KPMG in Chile, join podcast hosts Kim Majure and Kortney Wallace to discuss.
