Industries

Helping clients meet their business challenges begins with an in-depth understanding of the industries in which they work. That’s why KPMG LLP established its industry-driven structure. In fact, KPMG LLP was the first of the Big Four firms to organize itself along the same industry lines as clients.

Corptax CONNECT Conference 2022

Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center

It’s an exciting time to lean into tax technology to address the increasing challenges that tax teams are facing.

KPMG LLP (KPMG) was proud to be a Platinum sponsor of CONNECT 2022 and to share with you our vision of how to integrate Corptax with other enabling technologies.

If you didn’t have the time to attend one of our below sessions at the conference and would like more information on either topic, please reach out to us and let us know. You can also get more information on the KPMG Classroom to Business Workshop to make sure your tax team is on top of possible global minimum tax requirements, and learn more about how to assess the impact of BEPS 2.0 on your organization.

In the world of tax transformation, one size doesn’t fit all.  You need a tax technology ecosystem that can flex and adapt to suit your circumstances and objectives, and you can get there without breaking the bank; you don’t have to choose between investment in technology innovation and operational savings – you can have both. Ask us how you can leverage KPMG’s $5 billion dollar investment in technology and innovation to give you a head start on your innovation journey.

BEPS 2.0 - Assessing the impact on your organization

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development's (OECD) "BEPS 2.0" initiative with the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework agreement for a global solution will change the international tax landscape.  Whether the agreement is implemented in a coordinated global fashion or on a more piecemeal basis, the substance of the agreed reforms will be certain to present itself in domestic legislation around the world. Thus, it is critical to understand how BEPS 2.0 will affect your organization— both its profit reallocation proposals (known as Pillar One) and its global minimum tax measures (known as Pillar Two).  Corptax data and functionality provides a foundation, that combined with KPMG tax technical and tax technology experience can help you assess how to approach the evolving requirements. KPMG will walk through an analysis of the anticipated implications to your organizations, present an example of the analysis being used to help assess the impact using KPMG’s proprietary BEPS 2.0 model, and understand how Corptax data and processes can be integrated into that analysis.

Objectives:

  • Develop an understanding of new Pillar Two rules
  • Learn latest developments and anticipated timing related to BEPS 2.0
  • Learn how other tax organizations are analyzing and modeling the anticipated impact of Pillar Two
  • Identify data contained within Corptax to support analysis/modeling requirements.
