Export control and sanctions regulations are in a period of global flux with more countries tightening existing laws or imposing new ones. Simultaneously, enforcement is increasing with fines escalating. Understanding how companies are impacted by these more stringent regulations will be critical to shaping export compliance programs to maximize their effectiveness.

KPMG, LLP has developed an Export Controls and Sanctions survey with the objective of producing a comprehensive analysis and detailed benchmark report profiling how organizations of varying industry, size, and geographies are impacted by, and responding to, changing regulations both within the U.S. and globally.

The survey will be focused on developing a detailed look at:

—  organizations' export compliance programs,

—  specific steps and risk mitigations being taken around export controls and sanctions, and

—  the extent to which technology is incorporated to manage export regulations..
